Founder & Director of Relationship Enrichment Center

Sheila Maitland, LCMHCS, CSAT is the founder and director of her group practice the Relationship Enrichment Center in Matthews, NC. Sheila leads a team dedicated to helping those who suffer with addiction and co-addiction, trauma, isolation and disconnection. Clients come because the want resolution from painful, unproductive patterns of behavior that stem from the family they came from. Pain is incredibly motivating, so is recovery and healing.

Sheila also works with professionals providing training, continuing education and clinical supervision in North Carolina. She trains professionals, provisionally licensed and fully licensed therapists in treating trauma using experiential therapy.

Sheila is a Supervisor and consulting therapist to the nationally recognized Onsite Workshops, and has enjoyed being a part of the organization throughout her career. She is also a Certified Daring Way Facilitator which means she’s certified in Brene Brown’s work and leads groups dealing with shame, resilience and worthiness.

Sheila’s practice is in Matthews, NC. Sheila enjoys a rich marriage and family life with her husband, son and Golden Retriever.
